What does Proximity Learning do?

Proximity Learning provides live and highly interactive K-12 virtual teaching services from certified teachers that helps schools easily expand courses or fill hard-to-fill positions, ensuring quality education and academic success for all.

What Services Will Proximity Learning Provide?

We offer certified teacher and on-site facilitator staffing for K-12 education, tutoring, and summer school. In addition to teacher staffing, we offer both in-person and virtual schools.

Our course offerings are also diverse including core, speciality, SPED, AP, International Baccalaureate, and Speech, Language and Pathology courses.

Do You Offer Summer School?

We offer a robust virtual summer school program that gives students the ability to master classes and explore additional interests.

Do You Offer Tutoring Services?

We offer one-on-one or small group tutoring services that are tailored to the student's learning needs and available when a district needs it - during school, after school, or on weekends.

How does it work?

Do you follow a school’s existing curriculum, scope and sequence, and schedules?

Yes, we work harmoniously with your existing curriculum, scope and sequence, grading policies, and bell schedules. We customize our service offerings to your school’s needs to ensure that your students receive instruction that meets district standards.

Why use our solution?

Due to the teacher vacancy crisis, schools everywhere are having increased difficulty finding the right teachers for their classrooms. We fill in the gaps by connecting schools and their students with experienced, state-certified teachers in as little as two weeks.

Our live, virtual instruction services can be implemented across online-only and brick-and-mortar school environments. We provide quality virtual-centric curriculum that can be molded and modified to align with the school district’s curriculum, or when needed, can adopt and adapt to a district’s curriculum.

Our teachers are passionate about what they do and are devoted to developing and refining techniques to effectively engage with and motivate students in a virtual environment.

We have partnered with over 400 schools across the United States to provide equity in education by staffing rigorously trained teaching professionals in over 3,000 classrooms.

What qualifications do your livestreamed teachers have?

We maintain the highest standards when it comes to selecting, screening and training teaching candidates to guarantee placement of top-tier professionals with extensive knowledge of their content areas. Our teachers are state-certified and continuously trained and evaluated to ensure they have the skill sets needed to drive high academic achievement in their classrooms.

What do we offer students?

At the highest-level, we’re giving students greater access to equality in education by connecting school district leaders to highly trained and certified teachers across a wide variety of speciality courses.

We leverage a mix of live lessons, breakout sessions, and one-on-one conversations to ensure curriculum comprehension and build individual bonds with students.

Our curriculum is inclusive for all students no matter their cultural background, skill-level, or preferred learning style. We understand that no two students' learning needs are the same, and we work diligently to ensure that each student is considered when working with a district to design a diverse curriculum.

Can students interact with the livestreamed teachers in real-time?

Yes, students interact with our virtual livestreamed teachers in real time through video-conferencing software. We pride ourselves on our ability to emulate a traditional classroom setup, ensuring that students can seamlessly join our synchronous classrooms throughout their day.

How do you support student engagement and motivation?

We provide students with an interactive learning experience, which allows them to master content in a dynamic and flexible approach. Working in tandem with the livestreamed teacher, an in-class facilitator also helps engage and motivate students. The facilitator is in the room to answer technical questions for the students, hand out printed assignments, and act as an in-person supervisor, preparing the children for effective learning.

What are we not?

Our services are not designed to replace in-school teachers or act as a reason not to hire in-school teachers in the future.

Our intention is to complement and supplement brick-and-mortar schools by expanding access to highly trained, and certified teachers to fill even the hardest-to-fill positions. We offer both long-term and short-term support options designed to cater to the needs of your school district.

Are you a permanent solution?

We are proponents of public education and only strive to provide educational equity for students when a school is unable to fill a position with a highly qualified state-certified teacher. When a school can hire a new teacher, we will gladly hand the keys to the classroom back to the new teacher and support the transition process. If long-term support is needed, we can offer services for an extended period.
