Student Success Is Our Purpose

At Proximity Learning, people are at the heart of what we do. We’re tearing down barriers to connect students with the expert teachers they deserve. We build relationships because we believe people need people to learn and grow.

Student Support

First and foremost, students need to feel connected to their peers and their teachers. If we’ve learned anything from the pandemic and growing loneliness, it’s that people need human connection to feel safe and secure. Learners who trust the people around them feel safe enough to retain new knowledge. Without the relationship, learning can be transactional and concepts don’t stick.

Students are our top priority, so we don’t believe building relationships is optional. Our teachers work to build rapport with the in-classroom facilitator and students. They are trained in creating engaging and differentiating lesson plans to make sure each student gets the instruction they need. Teachers constantly check in on each individual and adapt, using breakout rooms for small group instruction to clarify concepts as needed.

For Educators, By Educators

We support administrators by filling the gaps that bring them stress. They no longer need to worry about student outcomes in classrooms with underqualified teachers. They don’t have to increase class sizes so students get instruction. They don’t need to add another mindless asynchronous course to student workloads. We’re here to help.

Every school has its own unique needs. Our Client Success Specialists build relationships with administrators as they customize our services to meet the needs of each individual school. Principals and administrators can rest easy knowing they have a specific contact who can take care of all of their needs.

We also help schools retain their teachers by relieving their workloads. You can lessen class sizes and give teachers back their planning periods by adding a certified virtual teacher into another classroom. Your special education teachers can offload the paperwork to our case management so they can focus on the students' needs within the classroom.

Online Teacher Support

Your district isn’t the only thing that is supported by our educational infrastructure. Proximity Learning certified virtual teachers receive onboarding training as well as continuous professional development to make sure they’re equipped with the latest tools and software they need to engage this tech savvy generation of students. Our teachers also attend faculty meetings including breakout sessions focused on each department. When possible, they join the school’s PLCs to interact with the other teachers within the school.

Proximity Learning believes in people, and that’s why we focus on building relationships inside and outside of the classroom. Connect with us to learn more about how we can connect your school with the people you need.
