I’m Zaida Aguilar. After getting my first bachelor degree in Mexico in 1995, I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a second Bachelor Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I obtained my first Master Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with specialties in education, Spanish, and Latin-American Studies. I completed my second Master Degree in Hispanic Studies from the same state university.
Currently, I am part of the doctoral program at Texas A&M University; I hold a teacher assistantship position in the Hispanic Department teaching Spanish for the university. I am a certified Spanish teacher 6th through 12th and I have been teaching all Spanish levels K–12th and college students for 16 years.
