On Wednesday, April Fool’s Day came early for teacher Joe Dombrowski and his students in Michigan.
Dombrowski treated his fourth-grade class at Oakland Elementary School in Royal Oak to a spelling test. What may have seemed like a normal test turned out to be a lighthearted prank when he asked them to spell a bunch of made up words – such as “Blorskee” and “Speekuzslmn.”
The 27-year-old filmed himself reading out the spellings and giving examples of how to use the fake words in a sentence, as seen in the video below.
“I absolutely love teaching,” Dombrowski told The Huffington Post on Friday, saying the prank was a great way to connect with the youngsters.
