Sean Combs is a rapper, designer, and now a charter school founder as well.

Combs, also known as Diddy, will open a charter school in his hometown of Harlem called the Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School. The school will provide a free college preparatory education for those in grades 6-12. They are set to open in Fall 2016 with 160 students enrolled in 6th and 7th grade.

Eventually, the school wants to expand to 700 students in grades 6-12. While the school has been approved since 2014, Combs’ involvement was only very recently publicized.
