He was charged with moving Kaplan K12 into metro markets, developing partnerships with federal agencies and additional K-12 education partners to enhance Kaplan’s strong brand. Ted has also held executive sales and marketing positions at Macmillan/McGraw Hill, Tribune, Creative Publications and Simon and Schuster. He also has done consulting work for Leapfrog; Achieva.com; CInnovations; Achieve Data Solutions; Scholar Centric; Quantum Learning Solutions;ClassLink; Graduation Alliance; Civil Survival; Learning Upgrade and several other small, medium sized K-12 technology companies.

During her 21 years as an education consultant, Dr. Jill Netz-Fulkerson, Ph.D. has helped to educate thousands of students and teachers in schools and districts throughout Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Wyoming. Jill’s education background includes a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and a Masters in Technology Management (MOTM) from the University of Denver, a Technical Communications degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and both Communications and Journalism (BAs) from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Jill serves on many education boards and comes from a long line of educators in her family. Prior to education consulting, Jill was a teacher and also held positions with Fortune 500 companies in technical writing, marketing, public relations, and sales for over 20 years.

Matt Laird

Working with schools in Florida for over 31 years with print, electronic curriculum, and other media, he has been a highly respected leader—focused on filling-in the learning gaps for students’ lifelong success. He is entrusted with serving central, east, and northeast Florida districts, including his home district of Seminole County where he also serves as father of three students and husband to a his beautiful wife of 30 years.

John has spent his entire life committed to the enterprise of learning. He has taught courses at the university level and has worked in educational arenas for over 30 years. Previously, he sold educational materials and was recognized for being the top salesperson in the organization. He has a passion to help school districts, educators, and institutions offer students the very best educational opportunities. He has attended Wabash College, Yale Divinity School and Princeton Theological Seminary. In addition to his numerous accomplishments in education, he is also a pastor. His hobbies include reading, juggling, and ventriloquism.

Judy Quick

Fulfilling a promise to her Dad, Judy Quick became a secondary school educator in the Texas school system and soon had an opportunity to work in consulting , and eventually sales with some major educational book and technology publishers. In 1998, she formed her own company representing K-12 educational publishers in 6 states in the Southwest with offices in both New Mexico, and Huntington Beach, California. She splits her time today in both states and will support the school districts in New Mexico for Proximity Learning. Her passion and drive in bringing the best resources to her customers has provided her great satisfaction, as well as distinction in achieving top sales awards.

Since 1991, Mark has committed to helping PreK-12 schools navigate the world of educational technology, identify resources that best meet their goals, then provide prompt guidance and support to ensure successful implementation. Mark is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident that has truly enjoyed getting to know educators from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh and Easton to Erie. Residing in Greensburg with his wife Sue, Mark also enjoys those rare opportunities when all five children, (Ages 39 to 18), can come together with their kids and have some laughs with Mom & Dad.
